Holy Week & Easter Worship: In Person & Live Streamed

April 13: Palm Sunday Worship @ 9:30 am
On Palm Sunday, we enter Holy Week gathered outside the sanctuary and enter the church waving palms and shouting “Hosannas” as we remember Christ’s triumphal entrance in Jerusalem on the back of a donkey. We will read together the Passion of Our Lord According to Matthew, remembering that the way to Easter joy is by way of the cross.

April 17: Maundy Thursday Worship @ 7:00 pm
On Maundy Thursday, we begin the Three Days of Jesus’ death and resurrection. The sanctuary will be reimagined as we worship in the round, creating a more intimate worship experience as a church. We will follow Jesus’ example of humbly caring for one another through the washing of hands and remembering the Last Supper through communion.

April 18: Good Friday Worship @ 7:00 pm
On Good Friday, we will return to our intimate worship setting, gathering in the round to hear the passion of our Lord. In this Tenebrae service, the candles will be extinguished, one by one, as we read together again the story of our Lord’s willing sacrifice for our sake.

April 20: Easter Sunday Worship @ 9:30 am
On Easter Sunday, we will celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ with shouts of Alleluia and songs of praise. We will proclaim God’s faithfulness, power, and love through the feast of Holy Communion and depart with joy to proclaim the good news of God’s endless love that is loose in the world.

April 20: Easter Egg Hunt. Following Easter morning worship children will enjoy their own special gathering where they will enjoy a craft and a snack, and then join in an Easter Egg hunt. Please have an Easter basket or bag for each child to collect eggs.
